Adapanthiya Refund Policy

Adapanthiya Private Limited is committed to delivering a high-quality learning experience for all our users. Our refund policy is designed to maintain trust and fairness while balancing the unique nature of our self-learning platform. Please read the following terms carefully.


1. General Refund Policy

1.1. No Refunds Policy:

By default, Adapanthiya does not provide refunds for purchased courses. All purchases are final, ensuring instructors receive fair compensation for their content.


1.2. Exceptions for System/Platform Errors:

Refunds may be issued only under the following circumstances:

  • The course provided does not match the course title, description, or instructor name due to a system or platform error.

  • The user must notify Adapanthiya of such errors within 7 days of purchase for eligibility.


1.3. Instructor-Approved Refunds:

Instructors may choose to explicitly allow refunds based on course quality. In such cases:

  • The instructor’s refund policy will be specified on the course purchase page.

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.

  • The user must provide a clear explanation of why the course failed to meet expectations
    (e.g., incomplete content, misleading descriptions, or technical issues).



2. Refund Request Process

2.1. Eligibility Check:

  • Before initiating a refund request, ensure it aligns with the exceptions outlined above.

  • Refunds are not applicable for:

    • Change of mind.

    • Completion of the course and dissatisfaction post-completion.

    • Accessibility issues caused by user-side technical limitations.


2.2. Request Submission:

To request a refund:

  • Log in to your Adapanthiya account.

  • Navigate to the Contact Support section.

  • Provide the following information:

    • Course title and purchase details.

    • Reason for requesting a refund.

    • Evidence supporting the claim (if applicable).


2.3. Processing Timeline:

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 5-7 business days.

  • Approved refunds will be refunded to your original method (payment initiated method/ media) of payment within 14 business days.


2.4. Resolution in Case of Disputes:

If a refund request is denied, users may escalate the issue by contacting Adapanthiya’s grievance resolution team at support@adapanthiya.com.



3. Additional Terms

3.1. Adapanthiya Credits:

In certain cases, instead of a refund, users may receive Adapanthiya credits for future course purchases.


3.2. Policy Updates:

Adapanthiya reserves the right to amend this policy at its discretion. Changes will be communicated via email and updated on our website.


3.3. Governing Laws:

This refund policy adheres to the laws of Sri Lanka, under which Adapanthiya Private Limited is registered.
